Will USC three-peat this season?

Unread post by PlayaLarga » July 12th, 2005, 9:47 pm

They lost:

Norm Chow: Offensive Coordinator
Ed Orgeron: D-line Coach
Carl Smith: O-line Coach
Manuel Wright: NFL Supplemental Draft
Shaun Cody: DE, NFL
Mike Patterson: DT, NFL
Lofa Tatupu: LB, NFL
Matt Grootegoed: LB, NFL
Eric Wright: Off the field issues
-------------------
While their entire offense is still intact from last season, do any of you think USC will falter this season due to their coach and player losses from last season?

Will USC reload this year on defense? Will the loss of Norm Chow hurt them given Sarkisian and Lane Kiffin will take over as co-OC's?

They lost Mike Williams as well. I hate USC but, I think they have a chance because of their experienced QB.

They lost some guys, like with every team. But most of their key guys are still there. Thirteen offensive players return who have at least six career starts. The offensive backfield alone contains 40 percent of the 2004 Heisman finalists, Matt Leinart and tailback/returner Reggie Bush. Plus they have a stud recruit that its a punt returner and wide receiver. Auburn will not be a factor they lost the most seniors second to Texas. Cal will not be able to compete, they have a good offense, but will be outscored by USC. Ya know one of them 55 to 30 games. But hey you never know. It would be sweet if they do tho.

No question USC will three peat too much talent on offense and the defense will be solid again this year.

will they be a factor without Leinhart and Reggie Bush and without Lendale White? Thats alot of talent to lose.
