Got exterminated huh?? Well, it is strange that they were even able to set up shop over there...Any other black gangs over that way?
Nah, no other Black gangs over that way . . . about the only other ones
during those times were the East Coasta over in Aliso Village.
FYI, the reason that STK was able to set up shop in the first place is a
long a*ss story, but basically >> it came down to Housing Authority
cracking down on the Homeboys and also many Homeboys moving out
to the Highland Park where we established out second neighborhood.
Most of our youngsters attended Nightingale Junior H.S., Lincoln H.S.,
and Garfield H.S. << all in the North East L.A. section, therefore the
Homies would buy pads over in places like El Sereno & Highland Park.
STK was called something else (I can't remember what) >> too young.
before the CRIPS and BLOODS came onto the gang scene. Most of those
members and their families moved into the projects during a period that
all different ethnic groups >> Asians, Whites, Blacks, Puerto Ricans, were
all moving in and replacing some of the old Italian & Mexican families
that lived from olden times.
If you were to line up all the Homies from Dog Town during those times,
you would see their faces and color of skin and clearly you would be
able to understand that WE INCORPORATED ALL RACES!
