Darn. I emailed CubeVision (Ice Cube's production company), called New Line Cinema (the company that made the original 1995 Friday film), and scoured the internet for clues. So far nada. I don't think I'm going to win this contest.

Oh well, it's a good think I already bought the prize on cd from streetgangs.com store along with the entire video collection. Worth every penny too.

I just remember the part when Bernie Mac was telling Smokey it was a sin to smoke weed. I think Smoke-dogg said something about Normandie & ??? maybe a 100# street? But wherever it was, it must've been where Cube grew up.

I never answered this question but the answer I was looking for was Harvard Gangster Crip neighborhood. I think this is where the majority of the movie was filmed. The flick did reference Normandie and Florence, but they never showed those streets.
