MY PS2 BROKE!!!!

Damnit. The thing jus doesnt read any kind of disc's know. Ive tried every thing. It still dont work. This really pisses me off. But my freind told me that if i send it to sony they will fix it for me . so we'll see. Any one else have problems with there system?

sony will only fix if its still under warranty.. if not.. u gotta pay.. if its not reading.. its something to do with the Laser ..

try to find some guy close to where you live so he can fix the laser. it usually doesnt cost that much coz it's kind of normal and common for the laser to wear out after heavy use. but I'd suggest finding a guy who can fix those things, not Sony. usually they're the same guys that install modchips inside, they do repairs too

Na sony got sued for ps2 laser disks being so cheap so u culd get it fixed from sony for free as much times u want even without your warranty.Trust me i got mine fixed by sony for free 4 times already. Remember that when u call sony dunt volunter information. The only thing stopping you from not getting it fixed by sony for free if u spilled any kind of liquid into your playstation or made it falll otherwise cal sony up to get your's fixed. |If you want more information bout this go to gamefaqs n they'll be a guide.

ME EITHER JUST POSTING A LINK THAT MIGHT HELP,BUT I HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH MY OLD PS ONE LIL VERSION NOT THE HUGE ONE.IT WOULD NOT READ ANYTHING.BUT IT WAS A SCRATCH ON THE LASER.

TRU,GO INTO YOUR SETTINGS CYCLE THROUGH AUDIO OPTION FOR DVD.CHECK THE SPEED .I PUT MINE ON SMOOTH

oh an another problem with my ps2 plyain movies is when i play it, the sound is really low, so i have to turn the volume on the TV up to full jus to hear the thing... donno why it dose it?

DVD's played on a PS2 will be in black and white if you do not have a 60MHz TV.
