he just got out ?... that dont sound right.. they aint gonna just let a Rookie walk on out.. and down here the Bikers Mostly do range from 30+ and the Younger members dont seem to ride hard with them and flag for the HA.. they just seem to be around...
Re: Hells Angels still powerful?
In montreal the H-A'Z were responsible for about 150 murders in their 6 (?)year war with the rocc machine . I've done time with some nomads & they ain't no joke . The haitian crips on the eastside of montreal associate with the HELLS . The hells angels have about 150 chapters or sets if u will worldwide & I've never met or heard of a full patch member who wasn't a millionaire , 1 thing 4 sho , the ones in Canada make major dough .
Re: Hells Angels still powerful?
Australia got Hella amount of Nomads.. Apart from there Prostitution they pull in the city.. they dont cause any Junk at all.. all i can say if u funk with them.. u a dead man.. and thats real..
Re: Hells Angels still powerful?
There are a few chapters here in Upstate NY. They do their business pretty quietly and don't make a lot of trouble.

Re: Hells Angels still powerful?
over here the hells angels aint got that much pull but various organizations and important people sometimes use them as muscles and torpedos.. they'll do whatever they're paid for basically.. plus they're mad as fuck! Damn, they're at war with the bandidos over here, and they actually fired with rockets from rocket launchers at the bandidos hq.
Re: Hells Angels still powerful?
Popped four of them up here in AK about 6 weeks ago for drug trafficing and weapons violations. Yeah there still around.
Re: Hells Angels still powerful?
IN OHIO THE HELL'S ANGEL'S ARE FAR AND FEW TO COME BY.MY FATHER WHO IS A HARLEY DAVIDSON RIDER WAS ON HERE LOOKING AT ALL THE POST WITH ME.MOST OF WHAT IS POSTED IS TRU.BUT IN THE LATE 1960'S TO LATE 1970'S THEY WERE VERY STRONG.NOW THEY JUST DO MAINLY GUN SMUGGLING AND DRUG RUNNIN FOR MARIJUANA(CAN I USE THIS WORD) AND COKE.BUT THEY DO A LOT OF BIKER RUNS ALL OVER THE STATES.AND THEY KNOW HOW TO PARTY HARD.AS FOR OTHER STATES POPULATION OF HELL'S ANGELS I HAVE NO CLUE.
Re: Hells Angels still powerful?
They are also big into Methamphetamine as well. Some of the biggest suppliers in the Pacific North West. Hell Angels are REAL bad news.
Regarding Hell's Angels
alright... theres alot of misinformation in this thread, let me straighten some of it out....
My uncle grew up with Sonny Barger(the founder of the H.A.M.C.)
rode with Hell's Angels and all that. No it's not just Hell's Angels its Hell's Angel's Motorcycle Club, it was started by former vietnam soldiers in the late 60's in Oakland, CA (no where else, the first clubhouse was in Oakland and the original crew came from Oakland as well as my uncle). Motorcycle crews were poppin up everywhere at about the same time. They got their shit together.. made jackets and emblems (the aviatar's cap with wings was the emblem).
At first they were involved with little things, minor drug trafficking(smuggling goods in from mexico), barfights with old rivals(on one occasion officers from oakland police department, after being fed up with the crew at a bar, set down their badges and agreed to fistfight them without giving citations). There was the occasional homocide as well(usually when a fist fight went bad, or debts werent payed). And of course cross-country road trips (imagine roughly 500 motorcycles on the same freeway all in a sort of train, some of them with rifles in the saddlebags)
As the club got huge in the 70s so did their scrutiny, and publicity. Thier main focus was not killing people or anything like that, it was having fun, making money & riding. The FBI and local police did raids on some member's houses, usually finding pounds of pot or heroin, and almost always finding illegal weapons (they were big into gun running). When they showed up at concerts or events everyone stayed clear of them. The mentality was a sort of brotherhood, if you try to fight one Hell's Angel you're gunna find yourself with 50 other Hell's Angels beating your ass. And man they were ruthless. And alot of people know of the rolling stones concert where they were asked to be security guards and ended up beating some guy to death with poolsticks.
Alot of them were unemployed and making money drug trafficking or something else in the originization. Alot of them were former vietnam soldiers as well(atleast the original ones from Oakland)
Well in the late 70s and early 80s is when the H.A.M.C. was turned out by the government. The FBI charged all members of H.A.M.C. Oakland Chapter with the same RICO laws that the mafia was formerly charged with(some laws against orginized crime). The H.A.M.C. was banned in Cali , and most members were now serving time for the RICO charges. Well the club was pretty much coast 2 coast then, but the cali chapters had fallen apart. There was snitching going on cuz members were offered lesser charges and all that. There was gun battles with members holding out on the local police, some members who were wanted for murder fled. But that was pretty much the end of most the orginized crime within the H.A.M.C., today they are no longer banned anywhere, are no longer affiliated with huge criminal activities. The club is worldwide now, they have chapters in europe, australia, all over. Majority of members are old now, some in their 50s and 60s. There are some new members too, but it's not easy to become a member. Back in the day the Oakland Chapter would do all sorts of initiative stuff. And you could earn your red wings(eat out a girl on her period) black wings(eat out a black chic on her period) were initiative things.
Most the things above involved the Oakland and other northern cali chapters. I could go on for hours telling you peeps the history.
Sonny Barger himself (the original founder) has a huge rap sheet, consisting of a couple attempted murders, a murder (he spent a long time in jail for those, hes out now because he is battling lung cancer and is an old man im not exactly sure of the conditions on that though). And Racketeering charges. He now lives in Arizona.
The H.A.M.C. is much different from what it was back in the day, you can no longer be beaten or killed for taking a member's club jacket things like that, the FBI keeps tabs on the orginization still, but they aren't what they used to be.
If you got any questions just ask me

I meant to put that in the "are Hell's Angels still powerful?"thread because that thread has lots of misinformation, but i decided to jsut start my own

Re: Regarding Hell's Angels
Oh yea and everything above has to do with the original Oakland Chapter's history and other Northern Cali chapters.
I know that theres hundreds of other active chapters across the U.S., some of which are still drug trafficking and all that.

Hmmm, I thought they were started in San Bernadino. I have no idea. I had heard the Oakland club was of course right there in the beginning, but I thought San Berdoo was the starting place?

Dude (Jratta) do you know what the HA(81) is about in NY? You should be their publicity man!!! These dudes in NY ARE NO JOKE!!!!! They and the Pagans(from my home town) go at it! They are into all sorts of illicit activities. Much respect to them though...............they don't F around. You are making them seem like yuppy wannabe bikers! I doubt they tried to earn their "black wings" when you can't be a black and join the 81's! I am sure the 81's for the most part don't even like many blacks and doubt their would "eat them out" to earn any kind of wings. I am also sure that when they go to the pen they click up with AB or someother similiar group.

I can't edit right now but I see you were talking about the California chapters.......my bad!
Re: Regarding Hell's Angels
Their website says the first chapter was founded in 1948 in San Bernadino. The Oakland chapter came along a few years later. In fact the Oakland chapter was originally not even sanctioned by the original Hells Angels. They started up their own group and decided to use the name. They later joined together with other Hells Angels chapters to make it offical. They also put into place a rule that all new chapters from that point on must be offically sanctioned. I'm not trying to call you a liar because most of your info is on point but I got all of this out of Sonny Barger's biography so obviously there is a few mistakes in the story you heard.
As far as earning black wings that is not at all hard to believe. It is true that they have no black members but at the time that a tradition like that was born it was all about shock value. I believe Sonny Barger even addressed this issue with a story in his book. As far as their affilliations inside prison Sonny Barger said they usually ran with other outlaw bikers. There may be some that became AB members but since both groups seem to require lifetime commitments it seems unlikely. Acme could probably shed some light on that question from a recent standpoint because Barger did time back in the 70's and I'm sure things in prison have changed some.

Re: Regarding Hell's Angels
Sonny Barger found the death's head on the back of a WWII leather jacket and liked it so when he got to San Bernardino and hooked up they incorporated it. The original Hell's Angels existed before Sonny Barger joined them and first started in Fontana. That's true about Oakland but they became infamous during the 1960's. It's all in his book which you could have had signed by him if you had been to Hollister last weekend.
Acme's contributing and his views are real for where he comes from. But seriously, there's a lot of Acme's in LA that have HAD to adjust to crazy mofo's from all different races. He's not pushing people around out here in the city day and night or he'd get sat down.

In the pen , the HA's and other bikers kinda stick to their own from what I saw. In the 60's 70's and 80's Im sure many tipped up to the AB, you can be both ya know. But since the AB are in the SHU along with the NLR, know one is joining them anymore. You got skinheads and PENI here in Ca. No matter what they say on here, for there numbers, both do pretty well for themselves in the pen. Bikers are not interested in the type of time those Skins and PENI are doing. Those guys make their time hard on themselves by being in the drama. Bikers tend to lay back untill it jumps off. Most I think would identify as Peckerwoods. But they tend to want to do easier time so they aint starting the madness.....

Yeah that's not bad at all! Paul is a certified tough guy legend*. Most everyone likes him. However, I prefer Gene Lebell. He delivers the goods.
*Someone needs to correct his marketing though as I found the following on his website:
"Give me two days, and I can turn you into a fully competent streetfighter with the same system I teach the Navy Seals!"
Against who? Olive Oyl? I mean that's just BS like I can teach you to play like Beethoven in three easy lessons.
Anyone who trains knows that you train for 10 years with seriously qualified instructors and you are still learning something from someone every day. Still I like his stick fighting and knife fighting approach. It's pure. Out.

Re: Regarding Hell's Angels
If I am not mistaken the 1% term was meant to say that 1% of all motorcycle riders are outlaw bikers.AcmeWhiteBread wrote:I always wondered what the 1% meant...
Re: Regarding Hell's Angels
yeah, that's what I always heard. Because back in the day, other motorcycle clubs used to say that 99% of bikers were law abiding citizens, so the criminal types started calling themselves 1%'ers to let you know that they were the ones the others were talking about.

u dudes with the biography on sonny are prob alot more accurate than me
