Have made great strides to close the gaps of opportunity, and also have made great contributions to the U.S. and the world. The Minority- Made an art out of disrespect for self and others. Youngings in their 20's are choosing prison education over college education.

LATINS: The Majority- People with a beautiful and rich culture, a stones throw from the U.S. Early immigrants endured severe hardships to cross the border to save their family from dealing with extreme economic hardship and lack of opportunity from Latin America. The Minority- Slap the elders in the face by joining gangs, and wasting the opportunity many of their forefathers did not have. No one migrates to another country so their children and grandchildren are thrown in prison or killed on the streets.

WHITES: The majority and ruling class of the U.S., has the most opportunites, tend to pass the family secrets down to the children, the least victimized, usually very generous to others. The Minority- Are some of the sickest people on the planet. Tend to be serial killers and mass murderers, with some of the most heinous crimes on record (Dammer, Manson, BTK, Unibomber, Timothy Mc Veigh, Son of Sam, Freeway Rapist..the list goes on).

ASIANS (including Indians): The Majority-Trying to earn their piece of the American pie. Most of these people are from impoverished countries with no opportunity at all. Close family units, teaching their children what is available to them in a 1st world country and how to make the most of it. Actions of a few can be a mirror reflecting on problems the majority has.
Aint no one said this action is better than that.
There are Gangbangers out there who killed more people as a serial killer and there are serial killers who killed for less than shoes.
If you take a look at criminal history that indeed there were MUCH MORE white pervert serial killers out there(in the US). Even when considering the percentual population.
It just shows that peoples of different races have different social problems.
I am sure that you would switch chairs of blacks and whites in the US youd have white gangs in LA and black serial killers. Thats for sure.

Every time some idiot gets caught with a head in the freezer, always seems to be a middle aged white guy. Asian, Black, White, Mexican, etc etc is being too vague. Some people won't even answer such questions cuz, they know they have more than a few mixes in them.

Therefore they know better to not put certain typecast and labels on a specific group since, it is so hard to determ what "Black" really is or what, White really is.

I've met a few other mixed people in the past and assumed they were Hispanic and asked if they love you know, Latin music and they simply told me that they were not Hispanic but rather, Half Japanese and Half Native American. And of course, i got what i didn't expect= they loved Latin music even though they were not Latin!!!! So you don't have be a certain way or like certain things just cuz you belong to a certain group.

So i learned not to make such assumptions when it comes to people. And besides, i believe this is a stupid topic cuz it re-applies the notion you can label people not by their character but, rather by their "race" or skin colour.

Like the what do you first think of=

Asians:
people said money, karate, quiet, etc.

Blacks:
poor, ghetto, Rap music, etc.

This just proves people label others based on their "Race".

Reality;

There are Blacks who love kung Fu, Asian food, Latin culture, etc

There are Asians who love HipHop, Caribbean food, other cultures.

But when asked about Black or Asian, people only have the stereotypical knowledge they learned from T.v or whatnot.

i feel where you coming from i think alot of us know that people of all racis love and enjoy things from different cultures but people love to judge people in a certian categorie thats just how life works its like deviding folders or organizing a music file rap jazz blue rave.

Yeah, thats true. I guess humans don't like to be "confused" or "mixed up". Lol

Humans need a sense of security when it comes to knowledge. I guess we like to remain in a comfort zone, of what we were conditioned to already assume we know. Rather then letting go of what we already understand.

And accepting the fact our perspectives are not always right????

but still i understood that this topic was about the first associations one has about blacks, asians, whites etc.
Thats just how the human brain works...You always have a thought coming first to your mind.
But that doesnt prevent me from knowing that theres a truth behind it.
