What does Sigue Sigue Sputnik mean? I remember hearing SSS had 3 meanings & that it was like 3 gangs in 1. 1 was supposed to be South Side Something.

"SIGUE" in tagalog translates to "GO ON, GO AHEAD"...
Sigue Sigue is an OG prison gang from PI....

Originally yes SSS was 3 cliques that linked up, do to weakness as individual cliques...
I believe it was..
SPB or SBP...forget.
SJP..
forget the third...

But later on i remember them repping Sigue....

I really think 1 name was South Side Something tho & I remember someone on here said it was South Side Somalians. South Side Somalians sounds funny, but I think they may have been down with some. It didn't seem like SSS was all Pinoys. I remember they had what looked like a white boy, but he was supposedly Hawaiin & I think I saw other races affiliated with them.

Im not trying to hate. but alot of these sets have been dead for a while.

Let me make some additions.

SouthBay

SJCC - San Jo Crip Cuh
UGC - Unitede Crip Gang
YD - Young and Dangerous
SG - Saigon Gangsters
AWS - Asians with style aka A-DUB
VWS - Viets with sytle aka V-DUb
AG - Asian Gangsters ((inactive))
VN - VietNam
ABZ - Asian Boyz Crip

RTB - Royal Tongon Bloods (and I see tongans as usos)

EastBay

AKP
TNP
KNP

these 3 sets were at there peak in the mid late 90's. I havent heard shit from then since 2001. From what I know they dont have any younger generations out here in the east bay. But i did hear that most of them kick it in the south bay now. Since thats where the shab scene be at.

UCV - Union City Vietnamese
KAV - 4th generation UCV set. You know when your getting old. When your hommies were in 4th Generation, and all of there youngsters are 9th G now.
CMF - Crazy Mother Fuckers ( taggin crew that click up with ABT )
ACE - Asian Crips Everywhere
APC - Asian Pride Crips
OTC - Oaktown Crips
TRG - Tiny Rascal Gang
OMB - Oakland Mien Boys
SOD - Sons Of Death

I'm surprised Alex from the South bay or whatever, hasn't posted on here. Maybe he did post on here. Is that you Alex? No doubt some of these have been dead, but they just got brought up like we were speaking on the past or something.

Is AWS a gang now? That was like a tagging crew, or even like a tagbanger 1 I guess. My homie came up with the name Artists With Styles back in the days & that whole crew that got started was just not working right, so I think he may have given help on the name that the AWS of now uses. CMF sounds a lot like a gang or crew that used to be out here. Think I heard of the DCB out of DC, which is really a suburb of SF. What's ABT?

nah not alex bro.

Youre right though. AW used to be a tagging crew. Pretty much AW was a bunch of vietnamese fobs that were trying to tag and eventually they started making money and beefing with other vietnamese sets like AG. The older heads of AW are clicked up with VN. The younger heads call them selves VDubs.

ABT - All Brothers Together. is a strait mixed gang and i think its the oldest gang that was started by asians in the south 510. I heard theyve been around since the 70's. banged hard thru the 80's and 90's. I think there last generation was the heads from CMF. And there are close to there 30's now.

Some more sets I forgot

South Bay
SJ Outlaws
Milpitas Outlaws

any of you guys remember that shooting when Great Mall first opened in milpitas? I know for a fact that Outlaws are still active too.

I remember ABT/CMF claiming blue for a quick minute, but i dont think they were for real crippin it. I do know for a fact that ABT/CMF was strait bombing on AKP. AKP out in the east bay has a heavy rep of being snitches. There main back up was the police. I remember a bunch of shiet going down and hella people saying AKP heads were taking the stand against some ABT heads. And I heard this shiet from seperate occassions from multiple incidents. So AKP will always be known as snitches to me.

It happened around the time Great Mall opened....Outlaw also shotup Keystone Arcade in Mtn View back in the day too...

From what I remember, Outlaw was always getting smashed on....BNB's in M-town were always beating them down.
They always rolled deep but were'nt very intimedating....I also got into squable's with them before.

The OG's from SJ/Sunnyvale were the only that had respect.

AWS was a set around early 90's. Remember that AG that got shot and ran over. He was a twin or something. That was around 96-98. Those heads were called AWS back then. About AW and VN I heard that a year ago.

I knew the family of one of the co-defendents that lived out in the east bay. Other than that incident I never heard or met them until I did some time.

I was googling some older heads because I heard some shit recently and it was a trip to see fools discussing CMF here. I mean ABTs were big 7 generations deep going hard in the 80s and 90s. But CMF was a smaller crew. Just on generation.I ran with them in my younger days. We weren't banging none of that blood and crip shit in Union City it was all turf. Basically stay the fuck outta UC type shit or going out and banging on crews the older heads beefed with. But a lot the cats we were beefing with were banging some fake ass blood shit. So cats wearing red were getting smacked around for no reason in Union City. We never wore red because we didn't want to be associated with them other fools. We wore blue to piss them off but we were never banging crip. Damn brings back memories.

Eight Ball from VN was my homie but I know he moved out of San Jo after the shooting that went down in his garage. Is VN still around in San Jo? I know all the older heads are pretty much retired from the game. I also met some young heads from the year a few years back. They were viet gang that claimed red from San Jo. Anybody know what they are called? I would imagine there aren't too many asian gangs in San Jo claiming red and they weren;t Wah Ching

SJ Outlaws did a lot of dirt in the early-mid 90’s. They hung out near Lecretia Ave. and McLaughland in San Jose.

They were convicted of the shootings at Great Mall and Keystone. They were also convicted of the shootings at 7-11 in San Jose, the stabbing in Golfland Milpitas, and in that incident where they rammed the car in the middle of the Aborn and Capital Expressway intersection. They were some pretty down guys. I know most of gone straight now after doing long times in jail. Many of them did time from juveniles to adults. Like any gang, they had their ups and downs but as I recall, the San Jose was pretty true.

There were cliques within the group also in San Jose, Milpitas and Mt. View. Mt. View as small and didn’t do too much but Milpitas actually did the shootings in the mall and at Keystone.
Their biggest rivals were SJB, CWA, RPB, SSC, and TNP.

Looking on MySpace, they are still around but keep a very low key which is good to stay out of jail.

I know this for a fact, because I lived most of it.

What 7-11 shootings? I doubt they did all of them, but I heard about some of that stuff you mentioned. Now that I think about it, those guys were straight g's & not as known as you would expect.
