Shaq to Cavs

Unread post by AllhoodPublications » June 24th, 2009, 11:44 pm

The Cleveland Cavaliers are about to sign Shaq in a trade with the Phoenix Suns.

Shaq will be traded for Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, a second-round draft pick.

He's wanted to join Lebron every since the Suns dismal season. He acts like all championships must go through him. You know its burning him up that the lakers (Kobe) got a ring (Championship) without him.

He's played with the best, Penny Hardaway, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Steve nash, now he wants to steal Lebrons thunder and take all the credit.

Nevertheless, this should be an exciting team. They become instant contenders.

I just dont know who the leader will be, and if Lebron will leave Cleveland after next season.

Shaq has one season left on a $20 million contract.

Phoenix is trading away all their players, they wont contend anytime soon.

when did he play with mac?
nash is an OK pg that benefits greatly from the "run that shit" offense

The leader has to be Lebron.
i think Shaq knows that he is in the twilight of his career and knows he cant play 35+ minutes a game and be effective like he used to.
So to get 1 more championship and pass kobe it would be best for him to keep quiet and play his role.

i still think the Celtics are the biggest threat in the east tho.

I am wrong.

Two time MVP.

How? They cant keep the team they have. and they were out of sync and weak anyway last year. One man go down, they go down. Pierce had never won before garnett and Allen got there, and now they have to decide what to do with all these big contracts in free agent years.

aight, maybe he was a little better then OK but look at his stat lines before he got to the Suns and after.
he obviously benefited alot from that running offensive style.
this is a good article about his MVPs

its sad when kyle korver can look at you playing defense and legitimately say "you not on my level young bol"

Kevin Garnet was a MVP and Defensive player of the year.
they lost him and still went 62-20
yeah they lost to Orlando in the playoffs but that was in a 7 game series to the same team that beat the Lebrons.

the Lebrons are a very very close second on my list.

I think something must be going on with shaq as a team player in the locker room, theres a reason why he's been on like 4 diffrent teams for how good of a player he once was!

nah he left orlando because of money.
he left LA because that was a keep Shaq or Kobe thing.
they kept Kobe cuz he wasmuch younger.
his move from Mia to Pho happened because at the time it sounded like it should of helped both teams.
Pheonix was getting slapped in the playoffs every year because they didnt have a half-court offense.
Marion wanted a lot more money and shaq had only like 1 or 2 years left in his contract.
then when his contract ended and he knew Pho wasnt gonna go anywhere with him he decided to sign with Cleveland and hopefully leech a Championship off of Bron.

that and he cant stay healthy
look at his games played

by the time he left the Lakers he was 32 years old and slowing down.
If the Lakers would of traded away 27 years old Shaq I guarantee you GMs would of blown up there entire team to accommodate him.

Shaq is getting old, slow, lazy, and still cant shoot.

LeBron quit on him and his teammates....

They ran into a tough playoff opponent and got exposed...

LeBron is a spoiled little brat...

Cleveland couldn't win it all and Miami probaly won't either- they play like shit against a good defense!

I heard some talk on TV (forget which channel) that Shaq possibly coming to the Hawks. Should that happen, I'd welcome it as it would be nice to a big center although Shaq's best days are behind him. But I haven't kept up with what's going on with him.

Just this morning I read on yahoo News that no one has shown any interest in acquiring him... i'm not a fan of Shaq, but he could definitely help a lot of teams out as a back up center... in my opinion that would be huge for any team.
