reading some of the links there gives me to impression that gangs in Paris are a bunch of savages.... Shooting the postman, what the hell?

I like how people rep their neighbourhoods being so poor, but in the end it comes down to bad money management. Like that kid who told me he lives in the poorest part of america, then he goes and posts graffetti on here with cadillacs in the picture....

i aint picking a fight with you sentenza, im just getting pissed with these people who claim the white man is oppressing them, when most of the time it seems their own stupidity is holding them back

I agree. This is what i thought to myself the other day. If you got the money to buy a benz or 2, why dont you pay for your sisters college education instead or for your mom to move out the ghetto?
But then this only applies only to a small minority. Not everyone is strong or stable enough to make it. Add a lack of chances, bad parenting, poverty, addictions, mental illnesses or something else to it and then you have ghettos. And these things exist all around the globe.
Maybe to a certain extend the situation of blacks in the US has something to do with racism. But it has nothing to do with Ghettos. They exist all over the world. The US doesnt even have the worst ones.

Sentenza & wiskeyJack said the truth (at least one part).
EuroTrash is right too, Marseille is far more dangerous nowadays... There are execution style shooting which occure very few in France usually... I think there have been 15 dead body since the begining of the year. It might sound few compare to certain city but the fact is that it is very uncommon in France !
Baklaking, you're a funny dude ! AND you're right ! Everybody like "brioche" (even you I guess).
Excuse my bad english...

There's been a few troubles in known parts of Paris (like "Champs Elysées" or "Trocadéro") these days... It was during the celebration of the football championship winned by the PSG (Paris' team). As usual the TVs made it look huge as if it was a real war...
