You do understand I grew up in Montebello -the heart of East LA...there are no whites here-except the ones who have adopted chicano culture 100%. There are a few blacks....but um not really!.....so there you go. ELA doesnt didnt even have mexicans from mexico. All the people around here are chicanos-most are the son/daughters of chicanos-into at least the 3rd generation. The area runs into whittier and stops at atwater. North to Bell-....all chicanos NO MEXICANS-NO WHITES-NO BLACKS. Its a great place to live-its probably the cleanest part of all LA. Low crime, all the neighbors know eachother. The gangs out here all run into the 1920s. Their isnt any gangs really that didnt start before 1940. So when shit does happen its only occassionally. I would have to say after moving out of ELA for awhile that no where in LA is like ELA. The women here are gorgeous. The style is impeccable-people are friendly/if your chicano. We dont have somalians running our gas stations and cambodians running around dressing like mexicans. Or a million illegals living 10 to an apartment. Ive also lived in Long Beach...and had to hold my puppys collar real tight cuz he was being stared at like a piece of steak. I had my water hose stolen upwards of 20x.....and found some crackheads living behind my garbage cans more then once. I also had to deal with paisas staring at my woman like she was going to be gang raped at any moment. Your 3% figure is indicative of one years worth of marriage of a race (whites) whom hold 190+ million plus people defined as white of "no other race" or 67% of the populace.
