Demographics in Compton

With this radical demographic shift in Compton, where are all the African American Families going? I have heard of the concept of white flight but it seems to be happening To the African Americans in Compton, who are dramatically being replaced in numbers by the Hispanic Americans. Where are they all going when they leave Compton? When did this dramatic shift in the demographics begin to occur? It seems that the demographics changed in order from, white to black to now hispanic. Anybody have any feedback on this?

Are there any hispanic gangs in those areas though? It'd be pretty bad if they moved into areas with hispanic gangs and were targeted again.

Blacks aint fleeing Compton cuz they are worried about being "targeted" by Hispanic Gang members...

Blacks are just moving out of the ghetto period... Going to places with cheaper rent with better schooling, less crime. Why you think Inglewood, Hawthorne and Gardena still have high populations of Blacks.... Because those areas even though have gangs are not ghetto and have nice affluent well kept neighborhoods...

If anything Blacks moving because Mexicans make ppl feel uncomfortable. Speaking a diff language, diff scenery (goats, chickens, horses etcetera), it's a diff vibe then most ppl are used to. Even when blacks were the dominate ppl in certain cities Mexicans were quiet. They worked, went home, stayed in, drank on the weekends but overall kept to themselves.

NOW, the scene has changed and they're more comfy playing their music, hanging out, riding their horses on Willowbrook, etc etc lol.

Even a Mexican born here and a Mexican from MX are two diff entities! Learn Spanish! Gonna need it.

One could say the same about Mexicans feeling uncomfortable about the environment they find themselves in. It must feel different to them too. When two different racial or ethnic groups have to coexist their will always be some getting used to.It cannot all be one sided.
