EAST LOS Varrios / Take overs

It is said that EAST LOS is the hardest place for anyone to set up shop.

I definitely would have to agree with that.

And it's not just cause I'm born, breed, and raised in EAST LOS.

I can only think of 2 hoods that were "outsiders/transplants" from other sides of L.A.,
that actually "kind of" got their foot in the door, but NEVER really set up shop:

38th and Easy Riders.

ERS only lasted maybe a couple of years off of Olympic Blvd /close to Indiana Ave before the E/S Indiana Dukes gave
them their official eviction notice. Those vatos were never heard of again in East Los.

38th St does NOT and NEVER really had an official varrio (with borders) anywhere inside EAST LOS proper, they are "floaters" popping up here and there occasionally, hitting up on the walls and then vanishing,
been like that for many years with them. No one on the E/S knows "exactly" where their "hood" is.
Again, they're floaters.

However, EAST LOS varrios can be found all over other parts in L.A.
South Side L.A., Compton, West Los, the valleys, even the I.E etc etc etc,

But setting up shop in EAST LOS is a muthafucka!!

There is, however, One "EAST LOS homegrown varrio" that when they EXPANDED within EAST LOS proper,

This varrio TOOK OVER two (2) other established, older varrios that had a solid reputations,

and has been in those hoods for OVER 10 years now.

"They came, They saw, They Conquered!".... A True Take-Over.

That's a Muthafuckan accomplishment right there!

No one else has done anything like that on the East Side,

And, if that were NOT enough, this same varrio TOOK OVER another n'hood on the South Side
from another very credible adversary/ n'hood.

So, this is only for the TRUE neighborhood Historians and Experts:

#1. What "East Los homegrown varrio" is this that took over 2 other hoods within East Los?

#2. WHO are the established, older varrios that GOT taken over?

#3. Who is the n'hood that got taken over on the South Side by the same?

***** NOTE: I also know of another East Los n'hood that "BOUGHT and PAID" for the right to take over 2 n'hoods, and it's was granted; BUT that's NOT considered taking over, you paid with money as in Monopoly, for the right to set up shop.

38st is by GMV...they try to set up in a cheap appartments complex...but anit doing shit..just like LK..just tag bangers..hit up the walls and hide...

18 is the north east..but have EAST SIDE in the name..but truly not in EAST LOS...

The name of that one East Los home-grown varrio that when they EXPANDED within East Los proper,

Is of course my varrio – THE LOTT 13 ~ Original 1st Hood ~ Lado Viejo /Old Side




We have a several cliques in what we call the 2nd hood or Lado Nuevo

that whole area where the 2nd hood is used to Moeriya Maravilla hood … is all THE LOTT 13 Boys and Tiny Dukes cliques ~ H alley animals

That’s Beverly and Margaret ave, Hillview / San Delaro area and all the blocks north of it till you hit Pomona ave

we got homies living all thru there



there was a time when THE LOTT 13 & ELA 13 Tiny Dukes were very firme … then they fucked up

killed the a very down and loved young homeboy ….W*****

We had some young riders that wanted to make a name for themselves… wanted a clique of their very own in that area

They were told by the older homies, “take out ELA 13 and you have you clika!”



Obviously I can’t give you too many details

but the main heads/vatos from ELA 13 Whittier side got domed …. The rest scattered and

that area is now THE LOTT 13 Diablos clique ~ Whittier Blvd



then of course the homies from THE LOTT 13 ~ 3rd hood took over South Side 29th Street in the area where Bell/Maywood/H.P. meet

that’s all the T.I.K’s and 61th street Locos cliques ~ U alley

again – we got homies living all thru there

I know … I was living there for many years … know all the baby homies down there
