WHO STARTED putting "Varrion" on IT first?

Unread post by Lonewolf » September 22nd, 2013, 2:25 am

WHO STARTED IT FIRST, PUTTING "VARRIO" AFTER THE CITY/TOWN?

COMPTON OR WATTS?

THESE DAYS YOU HAVE IT GOING ON IN ALL KINDS OF PLACES

FOR EXAMPLE;

WHITTIER VARRIO LOCO
PARAMOUNT VARRIO 13
DOMINGUEZ VARRIO 13
OTAY VARRIO LOCOS

AND THEN YOU HAVE SOME PRETTY OLD COMPETITION, LIKE

LYNWOOD VARRIO PARAGONS
and ONTERIO VARRIO SUR

BUT THE MAIN EMPHASIS IS WITH COMPTON & WATTS

CV3, CVL36, CV70, CV155, CVTF

WVG & WCW

SO WHO THREW IT OUT THERE FIRST?

i would say compton hit cv quite recently compare to watts varrio grape street but they made it official shit after the eme meetings of 96 ...i remember the first time i heard of cv it was in the end of 70's and they call themselfs la cinco la tres but the cv came very early for cv3 and also if you checc the old school lynwood varrio paragon hitting this way date from the 70's here is a proof u can see hundreds of lvp hits up in that doc great shit

they're in between all those, ^ ^
but i wouldn't call them north l.b., nor s.e. compton, and not even n.e. carson
they're out there on their own little enclave
in the old dolores junction area of the santa fe rail road, right in-between alameda and santa fe avenue
i thik this varrio maybe should of been called barrio dolores instead of dominguez varrio
so they hold all that little isolated neighborhood of dolores (dominguez park) and lincoln village
between dominguez street, the 405, the 710, and alameda
to the west, the closest neighborhood is the east side carson varrio la loma rifa and the patch
to the south are the west side longo dog town stoners
to the east across the river are quite a few neighborhoods but i'm not too familiar with who's around there
but if you want to head up to north side longo, you have to cross the river and head up north
i was just there last night at dominguez varrio with my compadre and comadre, right there on jackson st
but anyways, when i first heard of DV13 it had to been like the very early 80s (1980/81)
but i don't really know hold old they are beyond the 70s

so does anybody have any year for the first ones to have used varrio after the town name?

or does anybody have an understanding of why they would put the town first, before the varrio?

yeah like i said i dont know how old they are but in my younger days they really were not representing hard, . because it was ES or WS longos, carson13 and pretty much thats its down that way, vpls but way more on the west side. now a days they are something to their enmies, supposedly their main rivals are Wilmas ES/WS, Longos and Carson. But i wouldnt put them older then a CV or a LV

CV3 is in that doc also. That vato Sapo with the derby is from there.

It seem like a general South LA thing but Compton varrios are the most consistent with it. AFAIK, Barrio 13 is the only Mexican gang in the CPT city limits that doesn't include CV in the name. Even outsider gangs in Cpt. like OFA, USV and WSLocos use the CV (WSLS are CVLS in Compton).

its hard to tell.
LVP, the paragons are real oldand a big rival has always been CV3 because they are neighbors, so LVP could have been first then la tres could have started using compton varrio to be different than lynwood varrio, but it could have been CV3 that was first and the paragons started to use the LV after.
u can get a real answer even from an original from any hood and i dont know why???
i used to be cool with CV70's back in the day, and believe me i used to ask about what does 7-0 mean and no one could tell me. The real history gets lost!
155 had a time before it was CV155 but it could have been before the paragons started using LV because 155 is old as fuck just like the paragons
