Google top ten gangs in LA! You will get one story from the chief of police in LA. You will also get another story from Alex Alonzo which was published on this site! He does a very good job of offering a rebuttal to the police chief. His list is more like a top 20. He breaks the city down into different areas and gives a short summary of each major gang! I would personally lean towards 18th street! No other gang has the numbers or presence that they have. They claim numerous hoods throughout the LA area. I see them everywhere I go in New Mexico! I know they are in most states and quite a few countries as well. Central America is reeling right now due to the battle between them and MS. Florencia is definitely very big as well. I have known about them since I began Banging years ago. They also made Alex's list! I don't know to much about Chicago, but I have heard that that city is poppin off big time right now. I bet they got some pretty ruthless clicks out that way!

Yes 18st. Is very large MS,18th st.&Florencia13 are the big 3.I agree with both of you on your posts for sure. Them are the 3 biggest hoods and gangs in LA and a real broad gang structure and the new has a big influence on all 3 I only choose on Florencia13 because there are over 25 eme members that are ex Florencia13 street gang members but I would agree on numbers it is 18th street bumberjack. I 2nd that Bumperjack! The AB is far more feared than the NLR! They may be doing most of the hits because most AB's are SHU terming it at this point. If you are NLR they will take you off the mainline to though. Its a stretch to say they do most of the hits in prison. Says who? Have you ever been there to witness any of these hits?
