Has anyone read, "I am Raymond Washington" the only authorized book on Raymond Washington? Release December 2014, written by Zach Fortier with assistance by Derrard Barton, Raymond's brother??

I read it. The author disses Streetgangs.com(Alonso ) and Allhood Publications .... discredits both, but at the same time uses allhood magazine's Raymond Washington article as his framework /point of reference...

I give the book a thumbs down. Its based on Family accounts, written by a police officer who never patroled Los Angeles. .so out of state cop...with no link to L.A Gang Culture

just read it, nothing exciting, his younger brother was in the military for a few years during the 1970s, I may write a review of the book.

What I found interesting in this book, was a hand written letter Raymond wrote about the Crips, and it seemed to ramble on and didnt offer any useful information, but I wonder what that letter actually means.
