Most expensive house in South LA for $800,000 in 2016

Unread post by alexalonso » January 30th, 2016, 12:38 am

There is a house in Leimer Park on the corner of Creed Street and 43rd Street selling for $799,000. which has to be the most expensive house ever being sold in South LA. Let me be the first one to tell you, you have to be crazy to pay $800,000 for this house, although the inside looks amazing with thr most modern upgrades

This house is located at: 4293 Creed Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90008, it has 4 beds and 3 baths and is 2,974 sqft. According to one website, here is the description:
Welcome to an entertainers dream. This completely redone, almost 3000 square foot home is ready for impressing. Equipped with 4 bedrooms, and 3 full baths that include a master bath that has both a custom shower and Jacuzzi tub with a place for a TV so you can relax and watch movies in your hot tub. Harwood laminate floors throughout and a chief's kitchen that most cooks would die for. This home has it all. A private backyard that is spacious and a 3 car garage with new fully automatic garage doors built for luxury. Stainless steel appliances and custom cabinets in the kitchen show that nothing was left out during the remodel. The massive open living room and a formal dining room gives a decorator plenty of room to work with. An amazing walk in closet in the master bedroom provides enough room for the most expansive wardrobes. With two sliding glass doors leading to the private backyard one from the master bedroom and one from the living room make this home completely feel open and connected throughout. All this luxury on one level in a neighborhood that was once home to music legends and still brings a vibrant Jazz Art Culture. This one will truly not last and is priced to move.

Hmmm...I am sure that there are houses over in West Adams (near AME) and in the 30's, across from Audabon that are worth more and look better. That house is not worth that, but the owner probably put a lot of work into fixing the inside of it up. Gotta think though, Gentrification and the new train coming down Shaw is going to make everyone boost their prices in that area. Shit, take a look at the new prices for houses in Inglewood over by where the new football stadium is going. Everything is in outer space.

The only house i can think of that would be selling for more than 800K would be Rochester's house. There might be a couple of house in the West Adams priced in that area, but if you say South of Adams Blvd, I cant imagine any house going higher than this for 800K east of Crenshaw all the way to Gardena.
