Fiercest gang wars in LA history?
As far as murder counts are concerned...
This is for both Black and Hispanic gangs...
For example I remember the wars in the West LA area during the early to mid 90s that had a lot of murders between Culver City 13, Santa Monica 13, Venice Shoreline Crips, Venice 13, and Sotel 13... At one point it was considered the most violent part of the city (more than South Central).

Re: Fiercest gang wars in LA history?
No I lived in School Yard Crip hood at the time (Mid City), but went to school in Venice. That's how I got to know Shoreline and V13...
Re: Fiercest gang wars in LA history?
Yeah the Venice 13, Venice Shoreline, Culver City war was crazy......V13 & VSLC no longer beefin but both still go at it with CXC.....think its been pretty hot throughout this year between V13 & CXC.
@TheAngels-do you know more of the younger Venice guys or older ones?

More of the older ones... I'm in my early 30s so I was going to high school out there in the late 90s and early 2000s.
I have some questions... is V13 and VSLC still strong in their original hoods because of all the gentrification? V13 hood near Penmar Park got a lot of yuppies moving in and new expensive apartments...
Hand housing prices in Shoreline hood is up with yuppies buying up the place.
I was told Shoreline still has hangouts at Oakwood Park but that most of them don't live there anymore. And I'm told a lot of V13s moved to places like Palmdale and started sets up there.
Re: Fiercest gang wars in LA history?
So both still have dudes around there, you don't see a lot out though due to gang injunctions & the police. They aren't completely gone from there though. An older V13 guy got killed earlier this year over on 7th & Flower in Oakwood area.
I heard some V13 dudes moved down towards Inglewood area. But yeah that gentrification is crazy over there...I know people who've been affected by that. Penmar Park area was never too hood to begin with...or at least that I could remember....it was all the Oakwood area, west of Lincoln.
I'd be curious who specifically you knew cause I knew of quite a few guys myself.
And in regards to a few of the more fiercest gang wars....60's vs 83, Florencia 13vs ECC, Swans vs ECC, there's some valley wars I'd hear about as well-Blythe St vs Barrio Van Nuys & San Fer vs Pacas (not sure if there was a specific Pacas hood but i knew they all go at it with SF)

like i said i dont speak as a member of a specific set but with a person with some compton knowledge ...i would say the beef with the whole entity sscc adcc vs sbcc pbcc was more heated than any beef with any piru i heard of even rap war when tupac lost his life was vs mob lpp well at one point the whole ru car from nella to lime and eve hunters all with them ....didnt last that long compare to the multi generation war with tanas ...mather of fact i think that beef is the biggest beef cpt ever witness in term of lenght and body number
