Fresno Bulldogs
Hi All,
Where do these guys fit in within the prison system on yards?
Being a street gang with no hierarchy they take votes on yards and the majority vote wins.
I'm wondering how they would fit in on a level 4 yard? Would Bulldogs stick together but when the yard is race segregated, where do they slot in?

Re: Fresno Bulldogs
Ok, so they all go SNY, interesting.
Is there a SHU in the SNY for disruptive prisoners?
I see Robert Glenn former skinhead doing jobs for the AB is in a SHU style lock up but is in SNY.
Robert Galvan the Bulldog was in the same building. Which appears to be a SHU but within the SNY.
Is there different levels of security even within SNY?

Re: Fresno Bulldogs
The San Quentin hole or SHU I was in shortly before my transfer from reception, believe it or not, was mixed between sny and gp prisoners. The SNYs (beside me on occassions just for fun) didnt participate in the rolle call chants that took place like three times per day by like 4-6 different cars. Yes it was constantly noisy. I domt k ow about the pure SHUs, but I think the Alpine section in quentin functioned as one so the others shouldnt be different because just as I got there I was standing in a cage next to this all tatted up skinhead-looking dude, who told me he was NlR but then all of a sudden he said he was Northern zryder as well which is an SNY gang I was at war with and pulled a move to get myself into the hole or shu from them. But its a wek structure gang so anyway I ehard later I probably wouldnt have been stabbed or thrown from a tier just jumped. Either way, I didnt want to take chances and enjoyed the hole or shu more anyway due to it being cleaner and not having to deal with cellies. Anyway, the guy claimed he was doing a pure shu term so day for day sentence and he qualified for half timedue to being galidsted as NLr and couldnt even go into the line or sny section of the three receptions. I was trying to figure out why he even was sny if he was still vslidsted, but I am guessing he had similar problems to me but on the mainline and escaped rather thsn was a snitch since if he was he wouldnt be validated no more. Who knows though. He claimed he respected me for tsking off on them even in fromt of cops to get myself out because he would take off whereveer and whenever not caring if cops there or not, but I did it as a desperwte measure from like I said who knows what as I was outnumbered.

Re: Fresno Bulldogs
San Quentin was a weird prison. I remember some skinny guy was in the sny section of reception adter coming from dearh row. Apparently, he won some appeal and claimed he knew Scott Peterson who was in someprotective wing of the death row due to some guy who kept haggling him.

You reminded me, I was gonna write a book about this stuff and call it something like a system within a system, a world within a world, or asociety all within itself.

Yeh that's Robert Galvan I was talking about. He appears on lots of documentaries.
Interesting fella.
Killed 2 cellmates, that he was convicted for. Slashed his lawyers throat, stabbed a CO several times after slipping cuffs at court, stabbed multiple inmates.
Killed his cellmate after his cellmate complained to a CO about something.
I was curious to know more about the Bulldogs and how they operate as they're entirely different from many of the gangs I follow.

Re: Fresno Bulldogs
Yeh he seems mad. He's been interviewed a few times, most recently at San Quentin Deathrow.
He tried to sue MSNBC for portraying him in a bad light;
https://www.leagle.com/decision/infdco20121203484
He has many segments on Lock-Up Raw: State Prisons, Episode name is "Everyone Gets Got"
There is footage of him talking on death row about slicing up his lawyer and a CO. I just can't find it just now.
I'm curious to understand more of the Bulldogs operate as they take no colour preference.

Re: Fresno Bulldogs
I’m a little late and on mobile so forgive short replies and typos.
Bulldogs in California prison is its own car, they don’t align with either North or South. If they are sent somewhere with low numbers they’re segregated from the majority.
The major disruptive groups in California are,
Southern Hispanics
Northern Hispanics
Blacks
Whites
Bulldogs
Pisano
Others
There’re also subgroups and organized prison gangs in addition to the before mentioned.
Bulldogs don’t have any traditional allies among any other group and friendships, truces and alliances vary depending on where one finds themselves.
Most Bulldogs try to get transferred to Avenal where they have a larger presence but a deeper rivalry with Southern Hispanics.
If a Bulldog were to find himself in LA County Jail they would be PC’d, same as a Norteno being PC’d in Fresno County Jail.

Interesting post above, thanks for sharing.
I wonder how organised the FB's are?
As they have nobody to answer to, I guess they can be quite unpredictable and sporadic.

Re: Fresno Bulldogs
Diegodog has good information and knows his politics for sure. The Fresno Bulldogs have a big presence on the streets in Central California. Far as prison goes they are not a force to be reckon with after they parted ways with the Northern Hispanics.
