You gotta remember that old barrio doesn’t mean there was an old gang. These gangs aren’t as old as people think. They started in the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s.

so i got a ton of questions about FxTroop, like i've read that they're from the 1960's social club era of the barrios, but some say that FxTroop started in EPT (El Paso Tejas) back in the 1940's, but then i've also read that they actually started out on 2nd Street between Daisy Avenue and Townsend Street in the 60's, different than the already existing Barrio Artesia but then went on to absorb BxA officially in 1991, yet the Barrio Artesia Malditos clique is said to have officially disbanded in 2004? so how does all that work?

then you have FxTroop blowing up big time all over and spawning other varrios or others breaking off from them, like the long list like Townsend, Calle 6, Seventh St, West Myrtle, Highland, Lil' Brook, Sullivan, Golden West, Eastside Santana (ExS FTR), and Southside Santana (SxS FTR). They do go back in time for sure, Red Bandana was their color, from long long ago when every varrio had its panuelo color.

Btw, what a crazy name for Calle 6 ~> "Sons of Hell"

PLAS, that place goes back to like the 1920's, real old clique out there that's for sure, ey but Calle Flores only goes back to like the mid 70's que no? And Silver Acres would be older than Fifth Street since SAR is from 1970/72 and FSR Diablos is after them, right?

I have a question. An OG from Santa Ana told me before there used to be handball courts all over Santa Ana. The city got rid of them to keep gang members away from the city parks.

What year did Santa Ana get rid of their handball courts?
I know Logan still has their handball court.

FxTROOP started in the 60’s but not in Santana. I’ll give the whole story of the founding of FxT eventually on my Instagram page but for now I’m going to stay quiet about it. I will say that they started in OC and when they turned to being a gang (you’re right, they didn’t start as a gang but also weren’t a social club) they settled just north of Barrio Artesia.

Barrio Artesia just became a “clika” of FxT but never died out. Their numbers grew in 90/91 when the Chicano crips and bloods stopped and started joining established varrios. In this case, when a bunch of Chicanos from Baby Shelley left BSSG they joined FxT and claimed BA as their clika.

Logan Park, Delhi Park, El Salvador Park, Jerome Park, Memorial Park still have them. I can’t remember if Adams Park used to have them but I’m guessing they did along with Madison Park. I just can’t remember. I do remember that Flower Street Park by the county jail (I think it’s called Angels Park now) used to have one with a mural on it.

There was also Center Street Park that had one and that Park isn’t even there anymore. It was in West Myrtle hood

also how TRAVELERS got their name from a Blues Band in 1956 "The Travelers", and then later they formed a car club by the same name, so they became ANAHEIM TRAVELERS CITY by nature

PENGUIN CITY, that's the original Anaheim "COLONY" around Elm Street and Little Peoples Park, that place goes back to at least the 1950s, que no?

WAR and CST are both from the 1960's no? I'd put my feria on WAR being the oldest by name - varrio still standing as the oldest in Anacrime, my bet

La Fabrica is a small little community named after the warehouses in the area. The gang LF claims to be old but I never met or heard of a gang member in the 80’s claiming a gang called La Fabrica. I’ve never seen old photos of them on oc memories and you’d think an old photo would have turned up by now. I’ve walked all the sidewalks and didn’t find any old plaquiasos.

However, in the late 80’s there was a party crew called Optional Boyz that used to claim the varrio as theirs and used to fight against a party crew across La Palma called Total Pleasure Boyz. TPB turned into Pauline Street around 1989 and around 1991 I started hearing about a gang called La Fabrica.
