killjoy I hear you on that. All gta game players are use to the directional buttons to drive, steer etc.Now as you said you gotta use the analog stick to move.It don't give you the best movement control I think, but it could just be me.Any comments on this from others :?: :?:

I have a question. Why be coming to streetgangs talking about their video games anyways? Most of the clothes questions be about non-SoCal residents trying to figure out what "real" gangstas wear. What has this got to do with living in and on the streets of SoCal? Fess up fools.

True. So i suppose that grove st. families were supposed to be bloods? From the looks of it, rock star games did a good job at crafting this game cuz it deals with some real life issues that we've never seen in a GTA game before.

In one of the missions for Big Smoke CJ says " damn I though north and soutside ese's didnt mix" or something along those lines.

Go here - http://groups.msn.com/GrandTheftAutoGamer it is a mini website I made but has loads of info and cool stuff about GTA:3, Vice City, and San Andreas.

By the way did anyone know that one of gangters from Grove Street was modeled after Kevin "O Dog" from Menace II Society. He has short dreadlocks and a green flannel shirt and looks exactly like in the movie.

I got some of this stuff and other cool things posted in the 'Easter Eggs' section of San Andreas so check my site out.

^yea most of the niggas in grove street look like him, they even got some dudes walkin around the city dressed like tray from boyz n the hood when hes wearin that button down shirt at that party when dough boy comes home.

but anyway the game is hot, i beat it last week. the funnest parts are in los santos with all the gang wars.

it gets borin after you beat it, all you could do is turf wars but i took over the whole los santos, the whole map is green,

Anyone notice in the start of the game when the cops drop off CJ in the wrong hood, he says "this is balla country". This kind of thing happens in Menace II Society when the cops drop off the 2 guys in the wrong hood except it is a Mexican gang varrio. And hence the game is based on the same time period as the movie Menace II Society was filmed.

Also the named/modeled some places after real hoods etc, for example:

Ganton - Compton
Verona Beach - Venice Beach
Idlewood - Inglewood
Vinewood - Hollywood
Las Venturas - Las Vegas
San Fierro - San Francisco

I got it as soon as it came out. I pre-ordered it. Maybe there is a glitch because I cannot take pictures at all in San Fierro. The places where the little icon is don't show anything

Gym Glitch -- The infamous gym glitch is simply that it says that you cannot work out, even though you haven't done any work that day. There are a few fixes. The first is to save the game into an unused slot, load that, save it to slot 1, and then reload slot 1. The trick I used was to remove all clothes on CJ and try working out. When that failed, I put his clothes back on, and I could work out again.
