I didn't really like this movie as a gangster movie, but I liked how the main character was all about his money, and didn't give a fuck about anything else.

When I first start watching the movie I was like okay not to bad, had a different little twist with the white guy screwing and everything, but by the conclusion, I was once again Let down, just another, same old "gangster movie" being portray like the million others we have already seen.

My favorite part had to be that last quote when he got shot. Overall, wasn't too good of a movie. Wayyyy too rushed.

This movie was like a fake rap video version of Scarface and Carlito's Way. Look at the way the main character works his way up to become a big time drug dealer just like the main character in the movie "Scarface". and he gets blasted in the end too. The main character from "Empire" tries to go clean but ultimately cannot escape his past just like the main character in "Carlito's Way". This movie was a joke!!!!

Scarface= Classic

Carlito's Way = Classic

Empire = junk!

Yeah this movie was pretty shit... I mean Vic's character was alright, the way he handled his business n shit, but in the end he lets himself get fkd over and what the fk was he thinking? Trying to run away from his supplier?!

Obviously not as smart as he makes himself out to be. Like y'all said, too short, too rused n too much like Carlito's Way
