favorite gangster rap video of all timeeeee.......

"real muthafuckin G's" by Eazy E

You got the lowriders cruising through compton in a caravan....
You got charlie browns, locs, chucks, khakis, ben davis raiders gear, pendeltons galore....
this video is about as west coast as one could get, and eazy still never gets his proper due respect.

damn shame

second pick/third pick

NWA "always in to something"...."appetite for destruction"

not to many people have seen the full unedited versions of these videos, i recommend that you see them....nothing less than classic.

However if these videos in this forum were made outside of Los Angeles why to they copy all of the same looks as videos from rappers from L.A. How come people can't come up with their own thing? I mean now you can see people in cities outside of L.A. and even cities in other countries where everybody all of a sudden is wearing bandanas, throwing up hand signs, getting tatoos of city names on their backs and even using L.A. gang names!

Ty! Somebody understand what I'm talking about, thats what I been trying to tell the NY cats and others who copy Cali gangs. Yet in still they yell they real. Real is having your own gang doing it differently, not copying somebody else sh*t. Thats just like that dude Black Rob from La that rap sounding like Biggie. You can't get respect copying somebody else stuff. Let one of these niggas from LA blow up and take over the rap game sounding like one of these NY rappers. You would hear about it all day on this forum how he biting NY style. I'm not trying to hate on NY niggas just stating the facts.

In my opinion it's too hard to tell whose from Los Angeles and who's from New York City when people start to rap. Game is cool and I hope he stays for a while. I think it would be cool to see some West coast rappers start some new trends and see how many people try to imitate. Or instead of the usual style maybe wear some Loc's, tank tops and Khaki pants. Because every body and their mother is wearin bandanas and throwing signs in the videos.

For example, T.I. the rapper from Atlanta. I like his new song"You Don't Know Me" but in every single video he throws up the west coast sign. And in the songs you hear him in the background screaming "West Side!" Atlanta is the farest thing from California I have ever seen. It's not just him either. In Little Wayne videos I see everyone driving Lowriders! Plus I haven't seen one person wear as many bandanas since Tupac! Isn't he and his whole clik from Louisiana. They don't even have counties, they have parishes!

OHHHHHHHH i see what you mean homie....youre fucking crazy. TI is from the westside of ATLANTA. New Orleans have gangs too homie - bandanas didnt start in LA homie, theres gangs in chicago as well that also influence everywhere else. But i see what you saying - but when u hear someone like snoop scream EASTSIDE maybe he isnt talkin about NY maybe he means the eastside of long beach .... just a thought homie

I have a fascination about that city. I may even move there. Plus I knew someone who lived there but he moved because he got shot in the back. Anyways let's get back onto the thread topic before we get in trouble. I read in "Lowrider" magazine that Game questioned if Guerilla Black was really from Compton. He is isn't he?

Alright, Alright, Alright, Damn. But you have to admit. Say this was an alternate dimension and there hadn't been the media coverage on everything in the past 20 years. Say gangsta rap never came out with music and Hip Hop was never invented. Do you think that there would still be people in foriegn countries saying "homie", or people in far away places claiming Blood or Crip? I understand that eventually these things would have spread to other major American cities like the Latin Kings going from Chicago to NY. But do you think that their would have been as much of it? Do you think that even if rappers didn't start wearing saggy jeans in videos then rich kids in the suburbs would be doing it anyways? Because when I see 5 or 6 rich kids in the mall with 3 chains and a rolex I laugh because I know that if they went to a real american ghetto they would be rolled faster than blacktop. Because real kids who grow up in poverty don't have that stuff.
