I mean if you are a member of a group/organization, like say a union, you carry a membership card as proof of your membership. You are a "card carrying member" of particular organization. Not saying it's card, but I can see why some think it is. But car as in "what car you riding in" does sound right.

i think the cd was marketed poorly. with all the hype of bloods and crips in rap today, this could have been an even bigger hit than bangin on wax. the title alone "repyoset" is lame. but all the songs were tight to me.
