Vicky's Town 13 made it's way into Oaxaca
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrsV0h4SC7w I found this floating around not too long ago. There is apparently an 18th Street faction somewhere in the city of Oaxaca as well, but I'm surprised that an East LA gang has such a strong presence. I would have expected to see other Koreatown or Mid-City g...

Re: FREEWAY GANG MAP OF L.A.
The west side varrios, from what I can piece together. From the 10/110 interchange going west, there is: Burlington Street Locos and 18th Street HVLS, RS, and GVLS (despite being rivals, their turf overlaps) from the freeway to Hoover Drifters (from Hoover to Vermont) A little north of the freeway, ...

Re: What gangs neighborhoods have you lived in?
I've lived in the same stretch of Pico-Union, by the 110 freeway, until I moved to Fresno a few years ago. The two main gangs were 18th Street (mainly the Hoover Locos and Red Shield cliques) and the Burlington Locos, and they have beef with each other. They rarely do anything more than tag now, but...

Re: Cliques in Santa Clarita area
A neighbor of mine lived up in Val Verde for a year too. She told me it was nothing but horses up there.
My question is: what in the SCV attracts working class Mexicans? I always thought the area was too upscale to have gangs period.

What's up with 18th Street HVLS?
When I was in LA last summer (and on visits since then), I noticed that almost all the 18th Street hitups in the Pico Union area were from Grand View or Red Shield. I lived in PIco Union a long time, and I used to see a lot more HVLS graffiti, especially by the clinic on Pico and Union, Alvarado Ter...
