Re: Clicks that became gangs in Los Angeles
^That's a good question about OFA that I've always wondered myself. I first heard of the OFA tagging crew back in the early 90's. Always thought it was a sick name "Only Fucking Around". I used to see them get up a lot on LA freeways. I never knew they turned into a gang till I saw them listed on th...

Re: Clicks that became gangs in Los Angeles
^That's a good question about OFA that I've always wondered myself. I first heard of the OFA tagging crew back in the 90's. Also when driving through LA freeways I would see them hit up a lot. I never knew they turned into a gang till I saw them listed on this site as one. I wonder what the history ...

Re: CYS gang from the 90s
Thanks for making that clear Judas. When I responded to this post the thought crossed my mind that CYS did have Pinoy heads as well. I think I remember hearing that before a long long time ago when I first heard them mentioned. A hood with an interesting history knowing how diverse they once were. D...

Re: CYS gang from the 90s
Just my two cents. I personally don't know much history on CYS. Growing up I heard the name mentioned a couple times. It's a gang that was known for having Chicano and Korean members. From reading recent posts about CYS on this site it seems they are now an all Chicano gang. And the heads nowa days ...

Re: What is a 'chongo'?
"Chongo" is a diss towards any ES, WS or NS Longo member from the Beach. But it can also be a nickname for someone. I once knew someone who went by "Chongo". It means monkey in Spanish.

^Some well known writers that got jail time, maybe not prison but county, are Gkae and Trixter. Not sure how long both of them were locked up for. Both those guys were getting up pretty good back then. Trixter still does his thing.

^Do New York writers really think like that? I got respect for New York and graff heads all over. But I would have to say LA has some of the illest writers and artists all around. The history, the styles and the legends are there.

Re: Crips & Bloods Gang Territory Map
Alonso, I know you mainly focus on LA. But one day you should make an even bigger map including Orange County, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura. All the southland area. A huge task but with your resources I have a feeling you'd make it right. The gangs in these areas share a similar ...

Re: WESTSIDE ORIENTAL LAZY BOYZ CHINA TOWN GANG
Besides what Proverbz just mentioned, there is no connection I've heard of to other "Oriental" gangs. In San Diego they have Oriental Boy Soldiers, Oriental Killer Boys, Tiny Oriental Crips and Oriental Mafia Crips. Not sure about the history of these gangs but I've never heard of these gangs having...

I think Satanas (STS) was a click of Temple St. back in the day. Either that or someone from the Pinoy Locos click of Temple St. that started STS.

^Devious Hoodlums is from Anaheim. Not sure what their hood blocks are. They claim Anaheim Devious Hoodlums (ADH). One of their main rivals is Anaheim La Colonia. Also, the EK I'm referring to in that post is from Santa Ana. Not sure if they're directly connected to the EK in the city of Hawthorne.

Oriental Thugz (OTZ)
I came across the name Oriental Thugz online recently. I never heard of them before. They were supposedly around in the early 2000's. OTZ was a South El Monte and SGV based gang. Does anyone know of them? I assume they were probably a small gang when they were active.

LA Times list of OC gangs from '93
I remember a bunch of these gangs from the 90's. The list is missing quit a few though. Some on the list aren't around anymore. While others were clicks of bigger gangs that broke off and are now on their own.

Re: GG Family Mobsters Gang Court Report
Haha stupid question on my part. Those guys gotta be locked up still for that murder. Wonder how long they got. When I was reading that report I don't remember seeing how long they got. From what people say West Gardenz is the "newer" gang in Garden Grove. Last time I heard anything about them was a...

Re: GG Family Mobsters Gang Court Report
Growing up in OC I remember hearing the name "Batman" from my Korean friends. He was well known in the Korean crowd for sure. Are these guys still locked up for that shooting? After all these years from what people say ACS is still around. FMS and GG Boys are long gone and things of the past. I reme...

Re: Filipino Control in Atwater Village
Reading that little bio on TRS was the first I've ever heard of FC. Didn't think it was possible for FC to pop up unless PR wasn't around anymore. It's kinda strange FC is cool with TVR because from the little info I've gathered it seems like TVR had beef with all the Pinoy hoods in their area. I th...

Filipino Control in Atwater Village
I stumbled upon some info about Thee Rascals gang in Atwater Village. I remember TRS and PR used to be clicked up years ago. I'm not sure if there is a PR presence in Atwater Village anymore. The info I read said TRS was beefing with a gang in their area called Filipino Control. Bodies were supposed...

Re: Asian neighborhoods in Pacoima
Isn't the area that Pakoima Piru (PPB) occupy called the Vietnamz? It's the name of a neighborhood and not an actual gang name. Maybe your getting that mixed up for an Asian hood? Viet Boyz (VBZ) is a gang though in LA mostly but also have heads in OC.
