Found another shooting committed by Van Nuys ABS that wasnt talked about in that gangland episode or on here.

"On the night of the Vietnamese New Year on April 4, 1995, Van Nuys Asian Boys shot at Valerio Street gang member Eugene Alonzo, 21, he was shot in the buttocks, but managed to escape and survive the night of the shooting."

Another case on VN ABS

"During the 1998 trial on the Van Nuys Asian Boys, four former members of the Van Nuys Asian Boys gang were set to testify. Cu Duong, Truong "Kidd" Dinh, Paolo Prado and Chris "Johnny Elf" Dang. Duong, a 24 year old metal worker was shot to death early saturday, march 24, 1996 as he returned home from work. Cu Doung was found sprawled in the street outside of his house in the 19100 block of Friar street after neighbors reportedly heard gunfire, police said. He had been shot repeatedly in the head with a semiautomatic pistol, they said he was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no witnesses or suspects in the shooting, but robbery has been ruled out as a motive. Duong, described by neighbors as a quiet man who had lived in his home for about 15 years, arrived home regularly from his job at a Sylmar machine shop around 12:30am."

Now I know that Dumper and Widget from Van Nuys ABS who are serving life now were responsible for the murder of Kidd's dad, after they found out he was a snitch. But I wonder if those two were also responsible for the murder of this snitch, Cu Doung. shit could be connected, but who knows. It's obvious asian boys did the killing, its just the shooters were never caught for this case.
1. Eugene Alonzo is spider, Valerio street locos leader at the time. His mom also use to be the manager of Valerio gardens. This article says he got shot in the buttocks but street rumors back then was he got shot in the nuts with a 12 gauge by too short from abz. Not sure if true but that was the rumor back in junior high.

2. Cu duong was not a snitch on the big abz case. Cu duong was a snitch when abs killed someone at the Sylmar race tracks. Cu duong snitched on the shooter. Abs killed him in front of his house the night before he was suppose to testify. The abs shooter in the Sylmar race track murder got a sweet deal with the snitch dead, he got around 2000 after only a few years. I only know the cu duong story because I met his nephew before. His nephew was abs too. His nephew tricky from abs is in county right now for some murder on a veterano from one of the Pacoima Barrios or something. ABS/ABZ killed a veterano at jug jugs a few years back.

3. Dumper and widget didn't kill Cu duong. They weren't out yet. They were still doing time for shooting 4-5 Lomas ssg13 in front of Mark Keppel high school. They didn't get out til after cu duong was murked. Cu duong killer was never caught. He did time late 90s but it was for another case and he's been out.

Soperry "Baby Face" Chea, 18, A Van Nuys Asian Boys gang member stabbed rival L.A Chinatown Oriental Lazy Boyz gang member Harry Yang, 21, to death on April 17, 2005. Yang was stabbed to death during a cambodian new year celebration at the Wat Khmer Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles, California located at 1720 Beverly Blvd. At about 9:00pm, a fight broke out involving members of the Asian Boyz and Oriental Lazy Boyz street gangs. At some point during the fight, Chea drew a knife from his pocket and stabbed Yang two to three times, Chea then walked away and threw the knife over a fence. Yang collapsed from severe blood loss, and later succumbed to his wounds at the hospital. Chea was convicted and sentenced to 18 years to life.

that Thanh "Turtle" Nguyen, A Van Nuys Asian Boys gang member attempted to shoot and kill a rival Wah Ching gang member and a Chinatown Boy gang member outside of a Tapioca Express in Alhambra, California located at 228 Valley Blvd STE 105 on November 5, 2004. Nguyen drove up to the Tapoica Express in a white honda owned by his girlfriend, he spotted two rival gang members standing outside of the Tapoica Express, and asked them "where are you from?", one of the men replied with "Chinatown Boys", the other who was affiliated with the Wah Ching gang did not respond. Nguyen then pulled out a gun and started shooting at the two victims as they attempted to flee for cover. Prosecutors said Jasmine Ling, an innocent bystander who was entering the Tapoica Express when the shooting unfolded was shot in the back of the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Nguyen was convicted and sentenced to 100 years to life in prison and two consecutive life terms with the possibility of parole.
Babyface was originally Asian Soldiers/Souljahs. Cambodian gang that popped up in Valerio during the late 90s/early 2000s. Most of the Cambodian ABS/ABZ was gone from Valerio, most were locked up or moved away. Most Van Nuys ABZ left in the valley were vietnamese.

The Cambodian kids in Valerio started up their own gang. Asian soldiers/souljahs. They were operating for a little bit beefing with like JFX, AKP and VST and stuff. Eventually the shot caller of ABZ, filipino guy who ran ABZ gang module in county, got out of jail. All those Cambodian kids got checked. Their hood got dropped and most jumped into ABZ. Those Cambodian van nuys ABZ who killed that LA OBZ at the temple were ex Asian Souljahs who got put on ABZ.

Turtle was also van nuys ABZ I think. By this time ABS was mostly the older guys. By early 2000s most vietnamese youngsters were ABZ.

He was just the driver in that WC/CTB shooting. Down as fuck though. He never snitched on the shooter. Shooter got away. wah ching ranked out but they still shot him because the Chinatown boys acted hard when he claimed. CTB and Van Nuys ABZ didn't have an active beef at the time. That's why the CTB claimed and the WC didn't. ABZ shot them both anyway. Then they accidentally killed a girl walking into the Boba place.

Late 90s-early 2000s was weird for Van Nuys ABZ. A lot of the ABZ youngsters were vietnamese. Before most vietnamese were ABS and most cambodians were ABZ. They were also going down to sgv a lot and doing dirt in sgv more than sfv. Around this time, Van Nuys ABZ killed 2 V-Boyz im sgv too which are West Side ABZ allies.
Here is the news article of when Van Nuys ABZ killed the 2 V-Boyz in the SGV.

"Danny Chan, 18 and Jimmy Tran, 18 were fatally shot after a fight at a party the day before easter sunday, march 22, 2008 in Rosemead, California. The shooters have only been identified as three or four asian men ages 18 to 20 years old based on the circumstances of the attack, "we think the suspects are gang members". The bullets struck both Chan and Tran as they attempted to flee from a fight at a party in their red acura, causing them to crash into a white metal fence at the intersection of park street & charlotte avenue. Jimmy Tran, 18, survived the gunfire, but later died at a hospital from his wounds, Danny Chan, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene."
Van Nuys Asian Boys loves killing ppl on Easter weekend. They killed 2 Valerio street 13 on easter. They killed 1 blythe street 13 on easter. These 2 v-boyz were killed easter.

These 2 v-boyz are the famous pellet gun gangsters.

V-boyz were at a party in sgv. They were punking ppl at the party flashing guns.

They flashed their guns at a couple of van nuys ABZ who got mad.

Van Nuys ABZ ended up chasing them out, chasing them in their cars and shooting them up. Killed 2 of them.

Newspapers reported it as a shootout but it wasn't a shootout. The guns v-boyz was flashing were pellet guns.

Can you shed on Razcal's case? He shot and killed some Blythe Street and Valerios in 08 I think?

From what I heard Razkal wasn't the shooter. Just the one that went down for it. The shooters were spotted by witnesses getting into Razkal's car. That's how Razkal got pinched. Shooters never got caught.

ABZ spotted Valerio Street 13 and lit them up on Valerio and Van Nuys. The guy who died was Blythe Street 13 though.

BST and VST are allies. ABZ and BST was beefing since early 90s. Heard an ABZ paralyzed a BST by running him over with his car..The ABZ-VST beef is because of BST.

Van Nuys AB guys would play around with the S and Z in their names.

For example ABS would have a Casper, ABZ had Cazper. Both were vietnamese. Cazper is in for life for shooting up a carload of Four Seas.

This Razkal who got caught for the Blythe Street 13 murder was ABZ and viet.

The original Rascal was thai. He fled to Thailand back in the early 90s. Rumor was he smoked 3 Langdon Street 13 and fled.

That's some interesting word-play with the names based on which sets they were from! Could get confusing for people who are unaware though. Cazper's case is unfortunate then but at least he never folded and told on whoever was involved... smoked 3 rivals? Man, ABS/ABZ seemed to be taking down a lot of their rivals in one sweep! Not to say that I know or to diss, but ABS/ABZ seemed like better shooters than fighters. They always threw down but it seems like their secret power was being trigger-happy. Was there any non-Asian Van Nuys ABS/ABZ? If so, what happened to them?

I have another question as well, can you break-down on Central Side ABZ's history? The unofficial set of the gang? Heard they went hard too but they're not legit though because the founder was jumped out from the set and moved, then decided to recruit and start his own thing.

^^Was Central Side ABZ the ABZ click that tried to start up in Cerritos? Or was that another click? It was so long ago my memory is kinda hazy.

Yeah that's the one. Apparently they did had a click in Cerritos. Their were mainly Thai, Korean and Khmer members of the C-side set.

Depends when.

Mid 90s north side Asian Boyz set up in cerritos/Downey. Theyre the ones who killed the Cerritos satanas at the park iirc.

Never got deep though. Then they recruited a few heads in Whittier then later ended up in sgv.

North side asian Boyz in sgv were originally the clique who tried to open up shop in cerritos/Downey mid 90s. Thats why they're called North side. Cerritos/Downey was North of Long Beach ABZ.

The founder of North side ABZ was Shaggy. I was locked up same time as him in county. He got life for killing a Wah Ching at some SGV coffee shop.

Early-mid 2000s the fake central side ABZ hung around or had members in cerritos. Koreans. They were mostly from la Crescenta and koreatown.

I dont think Langdon Street and ABZ beefed like that. This was during the early 90s I think.

Street rumor was Rascal fled to Thailand for killing 3 LSTx3. He hasn't been heard from since then. At least I never heard of him again.

From what I heard it wasn't a gang beef. Just one of those run ins that escalated. Probably hit each other up and it escalated. Or Langdon tried to punk or jump the ABZ and he was strapped. Something like that.

Central side was started up by a couple of thai guys and mostly koreans. In la Crescenta and ktown mostly.

Central side doesn't exist anymore. They became Van Nuys ABZ.

Central Side ABZ was a fake clique. They were started up by Sumo from valley side Long Beach Satanas. Sumo got jumped in as a young peewee into LBS right before LBS died out. A couple carloads of valley LBS got locked up early 90s after shooting off the leg of a TGP with an AK.

LBS died out and Sumo got into Thai Pride. Some crew that hung out at thai temple. Thai Pride got along with ABZ and sumo started hanging out with ABZ.

Sumo either wasn't allowed to get in ABZ or jumped in but was soon jumped out. He was a bitch. Fat tweaker still owes me money for an 8ball I spotted him.

Sumo then started up Central Side ABZ. Central ABZ got checked by Van Nuys ABZ when a few Seoul Boyz started jumping into ABZ. That's when ABZ got into the korean/ktown scene mid 2000s. Central side was dropped.

The koreans from Van Nuys ABZ 2000s were ex Seoul Boyz and ex Central Side. If you run into a korean that claims Central side, that means he's a fake or he never got into Van Nuys.

"In the summer of 1995, Bunthoeun "Too Short" Roeung, a Van Nuys Asian Boys gang member carried a shotgun and chased two valerio street gang members, in the area of Valerio Street & Van Nuys Boulevard, he had discussed earlier that day with his comrades on which rivals they ought to shoot"

Forget the America's most evil and gangland documentary

They were crap

Also quite limited

They were limited to the stories that they were able to get convictions

You should get the videos of the Fox 11 news specials and America's most wanted on ABZ

These were pre trial. It had all the stories and crimes they were charged with. Even the ones they didn't get convictions on.

The stories were also more accurate. It was based on police reports and detectives interviews. Not changed to the "the prosecutor story" at trial.

Example:

Story 1 pre trial/FOX news - ABZ ambush 4 wah ching leaving san Gabriel Valley coffee shop. Spray them on the 10 freeway killing 3 of 4 wah ching.

Story 1 post trial/Gangland - ABZ shoots 4 innocent kids leaving a san Gabriel Valley coffee shop mistaking them for gang members. Killing 3 of the 4 kids.

Story 2 pre trial/FOX news - MS13 gang members flash .45 at ABZ at a light. Shootout happens. MS runs out of ammo and crashes the car. MS driver is trapped in the crash and ABZ finishes him off.

Story 2 post trial/gangland - Argument at a stop light. ABZ chases and shoots at 2 in a car during road rage.

The story changes because of the/lawyer bs trying to get conviction and harsh sentences during trial.

I went to junior high and high school with a lot of the van nuys ABZ youngsters during the 1990s.

Whenever there was a FOX 11 special or America's Most wanted on them on TV or they made the LA times or LA daily News all those guys would watch it and read it.

They'd bring vhs tapes of it or copies of the newspaper to school.

FOX 11 had like 5-6 segments on them by Chris Blatchford.

America's Most Wanted had at least 4-5 on them.

In 1997, 2Face, A Van Nuys Asian Boys gang member was playing basketball near the valerio gardens apartments when he was approached by a valerio street 13 gang member, the valerio street gang member pulled out a gun and shot at 2Face striking him in the stomach and leg. The valerio street gang member fled the shooting, and 2Face survived.

He wasn't playing basketball.

He was just standing in front of his apartment and Valerio came up and shot him.

It was a weak gun though, he was small and in junior high but he was fine when he got out of the hospital. He was only like 12 or 13 yrs. old when he got shot.

He's on the run btw. He was all over tv and the newspapers.

Michael "Gooder" Boonthawesuk, a Van Nuys Asian Boyz gang member was the driver for Widget and Dumper who murdered Dong Dinh, 64, on October 27, 1998. Dong Dinh, 64, was the father of the Asian Boyz snitch, Truong "Kidd" Dinh.

You're always mixing up your info and confusing news articles.

Gooder was one of the drivers in the ABS-STS shootout back in 1998. I did time with Kevin from North Side Satanas. He was the driver of the STS car. 2 carloads of ABS was chasing them and shot his car up. They only got away when Baby G from ABS got killed, he was the driver of the other ABS car. He got hit in the head.

Gooder was Van Nuys ABS from the Chatsworth/De soto clique. Dumper and Widget were older ABZ Cambodians from Valerio. Different clique, different generations.

Jerry Pham aka Goofy from Van Nuys ABS got arrested visiting Los Angeles. Rumor is it's for a double murder from the 2000s. Bail was set at $7-8 million.

He went on the run in 2000s and disappeared. They have him as being from St. Louis, Missouri which means he got caught with a Missouri driver's license.

His next court date is next month in pomona court.

So the murders probably took place in Pomona or east San Gabriel valley.

Nah those were Van Nuys ABZ youngsters flexing outside of San fernando valley.

Those v-boyz murders was around the same time they killed an LA OBZ in at the temple in L.A. and shot 1 WC and 1 CTB at the tapioca express in Monterey Park.

Plus Rosemead would be el monte court not pomona court i think.

Goofy was older. This was business not street. Rumor when he fled was it was a hit on a gambling house or whore house.

Goofy was a major player in the 1990s. Knew a lot of the heavy hitters.

He got locked up with Chino from ABS for that Sacramento home invasion case. He was tight with Silly and Woody from ABZ.

Chino was an ABS legend. One of the original Cambodians when it was still Asian Boy Style. He almost started a beef between Van Nuys AB and Long Beach AB when he shot a LB EFCC in the ass. Lol

Woody was the only youngster that got caught up in that big AB case. Everyone he got caught with was older but Woody was only 15-16. He got to roll with the older heads while all the other ABZ peewees were just running around valerio.

Silly was famous in the valley for Filipinos. He ran the ABZ and Long Beach/Cambodian gang module when i was in county. ABZ, CBC, EFCC, OLB, LA OBZ, TRG, etc. Charlie row shot caller was a flip. LOL I was on the other side in Denver row with the filipino car and we were tripping out.

Early 1990s they killed Kicker from LA ABI at that el monte pool hall

Early 2000s they killed Ghost from WS ABZ, they had a girl set him up iirc

Ghost tried to claim he was LA ABI too to make himself seem older gen but he was Monterey Park ABZ later West Side ABZ

Yeah, you're right sorry about the miniformation, "Van Hang and Pov Touch were convicted of first degree murder in the killing of Dong Dinh in San Jose, California on October 23, 1998" But I wonder why they didn't kill Kidd's brother "Johnny" out in San Jose when they ran into him, it says they ran into him at a cafe, when his brother "Kidd" was greenlit. Looks like they wanted to kill "Kidd" badly, killed his father, but spared his brother, wonder how that conversation went when they ran into each other, must've been odd.
