The oldest barrios in the valley are Canoga Park Alabama, Blythe Street and San Fers. Which is the oldest of these three?

Pacoima is an old barrio.
Barrio Van Nuys is an old barrio.
San Fer for sure.

Blythe St is an 80's gang.

Pacoima and Van Nuys are diffinitely been around. But I think San Fer and Canoga Park Alabama got some years. I thought Blythe was older than the 1980s though.

blythe street has been around alot longer then the 80's, i was busted with a homie from blythe street in his 50's back in 1990, from what he told me is, sanfer, blythe, van nuys, cant be sure what order, but pacas didnt come around till later, not saying that they are new, but not the oldest barrio.

Its a toss up between canoga and sanfer. Blythe is definitely new to the scene(when talking about hoods as old as sanfer and canoga)

we started BST Blythe Street around 1975, so it's a decade earlier than the '80s.
and the order of "oldest" barrios in the Valley is this:
Sanfer
Pacas ... but also Canoga
BVN / Delano Boys
VPC / Blythe Street

Not an "'80's gang," we started BST in 1974-75, ok ? 10 years later our little homeys came up in the '80s.
Up to our starting to tag BST/VPC (Varrio Panorama City) around 1975, the vatos that cruised Blythe was Delano Boys (BVN), SanFer, Sepas (S13), Canoga, and then West Side XVIII St, then Clanton XIV.

You might wonder what the fuck was Diesiocho and Clanton both doing on Blythe Street ...
Good question. first 18st was there and set up a neighborhood. Lefty from WS18st pulled together everyone on Blythe around 1975-76.
But this got Clanton's 4th neighborhood (North Hollywood) into the street and Clanton then came to Blythe.
Then there was a LOT of trouble as CXIV and Blythe and XVIII all ran into each other.

Most of the 1st generation Blythe Street homeys went to WS Clanton in the mid '70s.
A few years later, into the '80s the younger homeys came up in Blythe and the neighborhood grew

I run a page called 818placas and I been taking flickas for a about 2 years now , I talked to og from all around to get some history as I go by , the varrios started in the 1930s are San Fer , Canoga , Orkasitas (Orkas) , and Pacoima, as for the history on Orkasitas is a Landowner that own most of the area in SV and NH was named Horasitas and after he passed most gente went by Orkasitas and eventually to Orkas in memory of the Landowner

crazy you know about that , you may ask so about who the WS and Some ES help start the NS in late 70s , and how they’re first beef was with the gente from Hart street , also I was told it was Panorama Chicos that started in the Late 60s by Nordoff and VanNuys , but I was also told most gente lived on Blythe
