FMA 13 — gang that never had a hood?

In Downtown yesterday I saw a “W/S FMA” tag... had forgotten all about them. I used to see their tags in the 90’s around Mid City.

I remember seeing the tag a few months ago near USC too.

I think someone here once said they tried establishing their own territory in the territory of Mansfield Gangsters off Pico, but it never really took hold...

I’m told they were tagbangers called Famous Mexican Artists and then became Familia 13...

Was FMA13 a gang that was always hoodless?
