What year did they start? Who are its founding members?
It's my understanding that this gang broke/split apart, due to in-house beef, in 1977, and that split created back Street Watts Crips, and Front Street Watts Crips. I assume since they were Crips, they started Crippin' around 1972, when all the Crip factions started happening on the Eastside (on the West Side too, for that matter). I guess my question is more so, were they always Stanford Ave CRIPS or did they start off as Stanford Ave Boys, or something like that. Just curious on their origins. I've also heard that "HOUSE CRIPS" is somehow connected to Stanford Ave Crips, but I'm uncertain of if they were just in that same area at that time, one in the same as Stanford, prior to Stanford, or...?

Back Street and Front Street Watts area was all Stanford Avenue Crips. Back & Front were actually clicks that turned into gangs.

standford av crips broke into front and back ok i guess they must have been east sde crips prior or they just went from sa boys to sa crips thats an exelent question to ask og's
