Ricardo "Ghost" Chavez, 19, A Sans street 13 gang member was shot and killed in the 15100 block of Gundry Avenue in Paramount, California on Sunday, May 31, 2009. Obed Estrada, a Gundry Blocc crip gang member was with two african american males when they all approached Chavez and asked him, "Hey, do you know where your at?", Chavez replied with, "Yes, I know where I'm at", Chavez was then asked, "Where are you from?", Chavez replied with "Sans street gang", when one of the two men pulled out a gun and shot Chavez five times. Chavez suffered five gunshot wounds, three of which were fatal. He was later taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
