Lorenzo Benton is still locked up. He was arrested in 1976, and sent to the pen on July 22, 1977. He is currently 57 years old and is in Pelican Bay prison right now.

He has been locked up for 36 years but does have parole but the board can deny him everytime if they want. Usually if you have major disciplinary issues in the pen, you will not get parole, but I have no idea of what he has been doing in prison. But at his age, I doubt he is doing much now.

If you are in Los Angeles, you should come to the California Cease Fire weekly meetings. You will see OGs that have changed. Its quite common now.
