Any Info On This Raymond Washington Photo?

I first saw this photo on that Showtime documentary on the 65 Watts and 92 riots. Does anyone know what year it was taken? Who are some of the other guys in the photo?

Raymond is in the middle.

who are the other people in the phone. Looks like it was taken in 1977 or 1978.
