Joe "Bumper Jack" Batiz from Florence (1963 - 2020)

I was reading LA Times homicide blog and they have Joe Batiz listed as being killed in 2020 with very limited information. Everything is unknown.

Joe Daniel Batiz, a 68-year-old Latino male, died Thursday, Aug. 6, after being shot near UNKNOWN at UNKNOWN, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
Unknown location and no information. I noticed a user on this platform (yoda100) listed his name under the Florence RIP, and stated that he died from natural causes (viewtopic.php?f=158&t=302&sid). Found this coroner report that states he was sitting in his car when shot in the neck.

Found this Los Angeles County Sheriff power point presentation from 2009 that has Joe as a Mexican Mafia shot caller in the LA County jail.
