Worst Prison Riot in American History

Have you heard about the riot in a prison in South Carolina? They say 7 died.

A bloody melee in a maximum-security prison in South Carolina raged for more than four hours Sunday night before guards moved in to stop it, state officials said Monday. The riot, sparked by gangs within the prison who were warring over territory, money and contraband, left seven inmates dead and 17 injured, many of them stabbed or slashed by improvised blades.
