They from Otara. One of the leaders formed a record label Dawnraid (free plug) who release Hip hop albums in this part of the world. Some of their music ive seen featured in movies like that Knocked up and sampled by Mariah.
They recently were involved in a bit of beef with another newly formed South Auckland record label Colourwayz (WAT!!)... which was formed by another organised "group". Dont want to mention which group cos they from my neighbourhood and are currently being investigated by the you know who. But they have some good a$$ weed!!!
But yeah man back to the Booyaa Tribe on our side of the world.. they were more visible back in the 80's/90's. Ran a few clubs also in South Auckland which were ok to get pissed at. They used to rep that Booyaa hard... prolly still do

Boo Yaa Tribe 62 doesnt have any connections to The Blood 62s besides their common numeric number to indicate Samoas Independence as mentioned before. But Boo Yaa Tribe 62 do have close links with Heartless 685 (685 being Samoas national dial code in some parts) which they intern are connected and branch off into RA (Red Army) & other Blood sets throughout South Auckland!
