Florencia 13 fire rounds into Tequila KC bar, owner killed.

"Police in Kansis City, Kansas have arrested Javier Alatorre, one of the two men accused of opening fire inside a Kansas City bar early sunday, october 6, 2019. the other man still remains at large. The two men walked into the Tequila KC bar around 1:30am Sunday with handguns and started shooting, police said. A bartender, Jose Valdez told CNN the problem started when he refused to serve a man who'd caused problems months earlier inside the bar. The man threw a glass at him and was thrown out of the club, Valdez said. A few hours later, that man and a second man came through the back door with pistols, he said. "When he came in the second time he did not say anything", Valdez said. "He just walked in and looked for who he was looking for and started shooting." With about 40 people inside, the gunfire prompted customers to stampede out of the private, members-only venue, Valdez and Tomasic said.

The four slain men, all latino males, were identified as a man in his late 50s, another in his mid-30s and two in their mid-20s, Tomasic said. One of the men who died had planned to get married next year. "None of it really seems real right now. We were sitting here yesterday evening having drinks with my best friends fiance" Celedon said. "I got home, go to bed, get woken up two hours later that he's deceased, and she held him till he took his last breath, and tried to bring him back and keep pressure on his gunshot wound. And it was just one fatal shot that took him from us.

The Kansas City Police Department has tied both suspects to the "Florencia 13" gang. Florencia is a subset of a california gang called the "surenos", the surenos are a group that serve as street soldiers for the Mexican Mafia, the largest prison gang in southern california. Florencia 13 is a gang that has caused problems in the KC metro area and across the country for decades. F13 also has subsets in Kansas City, Alatorre is associated with the "Locos" set of F13, and Hugo Villanueva Morales is associated with the "NHD" set of F13. Morales is still on the run, if you know anything and are a witness,
the KC police ask you to please come forward and speak to them."
