BGF/83 Gangster Crips war.

From what I have read BGF was a dominant force on the streets and prisons in Maryland. This seemed to change however when the 83 Gangster Crips entered Maryland. They killed multiple members of the BGF and the BGF didn't retaliate. Why is this? What is the current situation in the streets? Do the BGF and 83 GC still beef? or has the feuding died down? Also, BGF ran the prisons it seems, but what is the current situation in the prisons? Do the 83 Gangster Crips and the BGF coexist in the prisons?
