Consigliere
Do the consigliere recieve kickbacks and do they have to be involved in activities too? Because I rarely notice any indictments on this rank in a crime family.

Re: Consigliere
Traditionally, the position of Consigliere was a semi-retired, older member who had no real executive authority but simply acted as a direct advisor to the Boss. But it hasn't been that way for a long time. In March 2002, Bonanno Consigliere Anthony “T.G.” Graziano was indicted. In November 2002, Lucchese Consigliere Joseph “Joe C” Caridi was indicted. In February 2003, Colombo Consigliere Joel “Joe Waverly” Cacace was indicted. In June 2005 and again in February 2007, Bonanno Acting Consigliere Anthony “Mr. Fish” Rabito was indicted. In February 2008, Gambino Consigliere Joseph "Jo Jo" Corozzo was indicted. And the current Genovese Congiliere James "The Little Guy" Ida is doing life in prison.Elimu wrote:Do the consigliere recieve kickbacks and do they have to be involved in activities too? Re: Consigliere
And yes, as part of the administration along with the Boss and Underboss, the Consigliere is entitled to receive tribute from the family.
