Video Appears to Show Uncle Getting Young Nephews to Smoke Pot

Watauga, TX -- Watauga, Texas police officers who were searching the home of a burglary suspect a week ago found something much worse than stolen goods. They found evidence of toddlers to 'getting high.'

This is a screenshot from the video, found during a Texas house raid, of the man apparently giving pot to a young boy.

According to the Watauga Police Department, officers found a video tape on Feb. 22 in a camera seized from a home in the 6000 block of Hickory Hill in Watauga. The lengthy tape shows two men encourage a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old boy to 'get high.'

Police said suspects Vanswan Polty, 18, and Demetris McCoy, 17, badgered the little boys into smoking a blunt, or marijuana cigar. The boys, who are McCoy's nephews, were removed from the home by Child Protective Services, a spokesperson said.

The boys' mother told police she was asleep in another part of the home and was unaware of what was happening.

McCoy and Polty face multiple charges of injury to a child. Watauga Police said the boys' mother could also face charges.

on the news today the lady said one of the children had a smokers cough, then i head the kid cough on the tape. That was a weed cough for sure...... Dumb shit on the uncles behalf

Well I am sure that if he was smoking weed with these babies they have also been exposed to second hand smoke for a duration as well. Which is just as wrong IMO.

I watched the video of this and it was quite obvious that this was not the first time those young children smoked pot. They knew how to handle it far to well.

I thought the same thing when I saw the video. I don't get people who force stuff like this on kids. What's the pay off? And why in the world would you tape it?? You're just asking to get caught. If a kid wants to make that choice for themselves when they grow up and make that mistake for themselves then so be it, that's what growing up is about but these 2 children were forced into this and hopefully those responsible pay for it.

Its alot like the behavior you see in child predators. Like watching/prompting a kid to watch porn.
